At Major Solar , customer satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind the quality of our solar products and services. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer fair and transparent return and refund options in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled.
2. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or exchange under the following conditions:

The product is defective, damaged, or not as described.

You received the wrong product.

You changed your mind within 14 days of delivery (cooling-off period for online purchases).
To qualify for a return:

The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

You must provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For safety and technical reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective or incorrectly supplied:

Custom-made or special-order solar equipment.

Installed or partially installed products.

Opened electrical components (batteries, inverters, cables).

Clearance or sale items marked as “non-returnable”.
4. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a defective or damaged product:

Contact us within 14 Days of delivery at info@thesolarc.com.

Provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos if possible.

Our support team will assess the claim and advise on the return or replacement process.
If the defect is confirmed, Major Solar will:

Replace the product at no additional cost, or
-
Issue a full refund, including reasonable shipping fees (if applicable).
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved:

Refunds are processed within 5 business days.

Refunds are issued via the original payment method used at checkout.
Please note:

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

If a refund is delayed, please first check with your bank, as processing times may vary.
6. Exchange Policy
We are happy to exchange a product for the same or similar item, subject to stock availability.
If the replacement product differs in price, you may need to pay or will be refunded the difference.
7. Installation & Service Refunds
For solar system installations or maintenance services:

Once an installation has begun, refunds are only provided if work has not yet been completed and materials are unused.

Any refund for installation services will be subject to a pro-rata deduction for work and materials already provided.
